Dr. Chirag Darji was an Associate Professor at Waymade College of Education, a constituent college of The CVM University, Vallabh Vidyanagar Gujarat. He holds He has 13 years of teaching experience at B.Ed. M.Ed. and M.Phil. programmes. He Presented 45 papers in the State, National and International level conferences. Delivered 40 lectures at various universities like Baba Saheb Ambedkar Open University, Sardar Patel University, CHARUSAT, UGC HRDC and Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE). He published 32 Published Research papers & articles in ISSN UGC recognized Peer Reviewed journals with impact factor. 07 Articles were published in Seminar Proceedings. 10 books with ISBN as an author and 03 ISBN books as an editor got published. He has been the editor for 04 College Annual Magazines and prepared 02 Policy documents on Teacher education programmes. 38 M.Ed. Students and 2 M.Phil. students have been awarded the degrees. Currently he is guiding 06 Ph.D. students at Sardar Patel University & CVM University. He coordinated 7 research projects offered by UGC and Gujarat State Government and carried out 5 research projects at the institute level. Conducted 20 workshops on various themes for the school and College teachers. He has also attended one Orientation, two Refresher Courses and one short term UGC Moocs and SWAYAM courses. Conducted 3 Short terms courses on Developing Communication Skills for the pre service teachers at the Waymade College of Education. Coordinated a consultancy programme of 2 lakh rupees. He has also been awarded by “Customized Award Getting Ready to Teach English (CEFR B-1C-1)” award from Cambridge University, UK. Also awarded for the best Paper Presentation in the International Conference at BVM Engineering College. A textbook reviewer for the GSEB Textbooks. External Examiner and Ph.D. Referees for various universities like SP University, CHARUSAT, IGNOU,IITE,Saurashtra University, MK Bhavnagar university examinations. Offered services as a penalist, key note speakers, reporter and chairpersons at various State, National and International level symposiums and conferences. His book on ‘Changing Values among Female Teenagers’ has been selected by the international publisher Lambert Academic Publishing House for translating it into 08 foreign languages January, 2020. He has also been the editor ELT Quarterly Journal and Peer Reviewer for the foreign journal named International Research Journal of Educational Leadership and Management. Thailand. Currently he is the member of Council for Teacher Education, Chairman of Board of Studies CVM University, ELTa@i, CBSE school management committee and IQAC coordinator for the university and institute.
